It's Bug Art, man! It's Bug Art!

are my main passion as you can see here. Unfortunately, my old digital camera was not capable of taking very high quality pictures so my older works are not as well-documented. The phrase "It's Bug Art Man! It's Bug Art!" is a take-off on a line from a famous science-fiction film. Kudos to all who figure-out which film! I get a great deal of my inspiration from the natural world, especially when hiking with my dog in the woods and fields behind my apartment complex. Therefore my first show in 2002 contained several references to insects and spiders. Since then I have always added a bug in some form to every Art Quilt I make.
