Inspiration

Everything from history to politics to anthropology to nature hikes with my dog. . . the list goes on and on. . . Shiney. . .

I've taken courses where I learned the correct artistic terminology such as hues and shades and such but I don't think in these terms when I create. Instead I work very intuitively, waiting for the fabric and other materials to "talk" to me.

I have some common themes in my work such as Steampunk and fantasy as well as referencing art history.

Here's a perfect example of why I find nature so inspiring! The silver-grey moss looks more like lace than like an actual plant.
