Yes, here, finally, is a picture of me. No one could accuse me of being too egotistical considering that I'd had my web pages up for about a year before putting a picture of myself on them.
Actually, it's here to show some of the things I've made. I sewed my skirt, pink satin camisole top and pink lace peasant blouse myself. And, the daybed cover, pillows and lampshade, too. I have since made a new and better lampshade in patterned fabric with bronze braid. The daybed cover is reversable and has a different, jungle-patterned fabric on the offside. It is also open at both ends and contains a polyester fiberfill comforter (to give it some bulk).
I commissioned a local carpenter to make a wooden frame which I then covered with white fabric. The frame is approximately 2 meters high by 1 meter wide. Attaching things to the horizontal frame eliminates clutter as well as making things more easily visible.
